Yin Yoga

Forget the outside world, leave your worries with your shoes (decidedly OFF your mat) and come and experience these monthly 2 hour sessions, which combine the deep, slow fascial release of yin yoga, with the incredible restorative power of yoga nidra (yogic sleep).

Each session begins with a short meditation or chant, followed by 7 or 8 yoga asanas that are held for anywhere between 3 and 8 minutes. Postures are held in stillness at the "goldilocks" edge for you, and there are plenty of props available to provide support where needed. Asanas are mainly practiced on the floor, although we may come up to stand at times.

We then finish with half an hour's deep relaxation - all held in cosy comfort, surrounded by fairy lights, and with herbal tea and homemade vegan treats to keep us nourished. Booking essential for these highly popular sessions.
